4' Contoured Glider Bench

We have added a high quality glider mechanism to our premium 4’ (127cm) contoured bench to create the finest weatherproof glider bench we know of. Made of weather-resistant Brazilian Cherry, it is a classic style, with a high back and wide seat. The curvature of the back and seat makes it far more comfortable than the standard premium garden bench or glider. It is beautifully proportioned, with comfortable, solid arms, and comfortably contoured seat slats. The back posts are not straight – they are cut with an angle that makes the bench incredibly comfortable. Posts and slats are thick, and the seat slats are “capped” with a nice smooth crosspiece in front for added comfort.

• Constructed from 71 pounds (32kg) of 100% premium grade weatherproof Brazilian Cherry. Cheaper woods break, especially the seat and back slats.
• Engineered for outdoor use at every step: the wood has been 100% kiln-dried, all hardware is exterior grade, glue is non-water soluble, slats are cut to shape; not bent, and all construction is mortise and tenon.
• Full adult size – compare our dimensions to many on the market which have been scaled down to meet price points.
• Angled back with strong, contoured backslats

  ensure your entire bench endures for many years, unlike so many benches with thin parts that wear out quickly. 6. Wide flat arms with curved edges – rare among lesser benches.
• Wide contoured seat with durable curved slats – a wide seat at the proper height is crucial to comfort.
• Front-capped seat slats so that slats do not scratch or pinch
• Curved front posts keep sharp edges from protruding. Rather than simply putting a bench on a glider mechanism, details such as this often require further engineering to create the optimal design. 9. Any doubts?
